Overview

What LLP Form 11 is

Form 11 is the annual return every Limited Liability Partnership files with the ROC under the LLP Act.
It is due by 30 May each year, covering the financial year ended 31 March.
It declares the partners, designated partners, total contribution, and any penalties or compounding during the year.
Even LLPs with no business activity must file - a nil return, not no return.

Benefits

Why LLPs file Form 11 through us

Open each benefit to see what it means for you.

Matches your LLP agreement

Form 11 is short, but it must match your LLP agreement - partner count, contribution, business activity. We check consistency before filing.

Filed before the deadline

Additional fees run per day of delay. We file well before 30 May so the fee never enters the picture.

Changes captured accurately

Designated partner changes, contribution changes, address changes - the annual return should reflect reality. We update it correctly.

Backlog filings handled

Already missed 30 May? We file the backlog with additional fees computed transparently.

Documents

Documents you will usually need

Clear, current documents matter more than a long checklist. Names, dates of birth and addresses should match across records.

0 documents marked ready Tick what you already have. This checklist resets when you leave the page.

Plan before you start

  • Check whether your sector permits automatic-route foreign investment
  • Confirm the Indian resident director arrangement
  • Map ownership, beneficial ownership and pricing
  • Allow time for apostilled or consularised documents

Plan for after setup

  • Receive funds through permitted banking channels
  • Complete RBI/FEMA reporting and keep the bank evidence
  • Coordinate tax and ongoing compliance advice early

30 May each year, for the financial year ended 31 March. It is fixed - there is no routine extension.
Yes. Form 11 is required from every LLP, even dormant ones. File it as a nil-activity return rather than skipping it.
Form 11 is the annual return - who the partners are, what the contributions are. Form 8 is the statement of account and solvency - the financials. Both are mandatory.
Additional fees accrue per day of delay with no cap, which gets painful fast. File the backlog as soon as you can.
Yes - they must be consistent. Contribution figures in Form 11 should tie to your LLP agreement and your books. We check this alignment.
Yes. Each designated partner needs a valid DIN/DPIN and DSC for filing. We flag expired DSCs before the deadline rush.
You can, but designated partner details and contribution figures trip up first-timers. A wrong annual return is harder to fix than a wrong monthly one.
No - Form 11 is an LLP form. Companies file MGT-7. Different law, different form.
