What do you mean by APEDA?
APEDA is an acronym for Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, a government organisation which was initiated in the year 1985 to foster the growth and development in the products via giving information about the financial assistance, statistics, formulate all the standards and regulate them accordingly of the export of scheduled products such as fruits, poultry, vegetables, dairy, sugar, cocoa products, etc. The central government implements the policies for a better framework. APEDA registration sets the necessary standards for registration of exporters on payments of the fees structure. This also helps in training of the various aspects that are connected with the scheduled products. One can also gather all the statistics and publications of such statistics.
The basic requirement of operating such agencies and services are the dissemination of the statistics that is collected from the reserved data of the marketplace. It helps all the exporters for meetings of the sellers and promotions of all the products, etc. everything that is inclusive.
