NSIC Registration

National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), is a Government of India Undertaking which falls under the ambit of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprise (MSME). NSIC is an ISO 9001:2015 PSU which continuously promots SMEs through connecting them with Government needs through schemes like Single Point Registration Scheme, Marketing support, Raw Material Assistance, Performance and Credit Rating Scheme for small enterprises.

Both Manufacturing & Service enterprises having Udyog Aadhaar are eligible to obtain NSIC Registration. To get NSIC Registration, the MSME needs to file application with one of the NSIC Offices. Upon filing the application, NSIC forwards the application with the nearest NSIC office of the applicant for a technical inspection upon completion of inspection, application gets the registration. The registration under Single Point Registration Scheme is valid for 2 years and can be renewed in every 2 years.


Free of cost Tender Information

Entities registered with NSIC have the benefit of getting the tender information for free of cost and notably there are more than 350 items which are reserved for purchase from SSI unit.

No need to pay EMD

Entities registered with NSIC are exempted from payment of Earnest money Deposit to be made as required for normal bidders.

Fair Tender Participation

Where the MSME quoting the price between L1+ 15% are allow to supply a fraction of 20% of demand by lowering their bid to L1 (L1 is non-MSME).

Reserved procurement from MSME

PSUs and Government Entities required to make 25% of its annual purchase from SSIs and 3 % of which should be from women lead SSIs and 4 from Schedule Cast/Tribes.
